Brought along Ethan’s first tooth! Yesterday morning it wasn’t there, then last night you could see it just sitting there and this morning it has broken through!
So even though he was born almost 2 months early he is still keeping with the family tradition of getting their first tooth around the 10 month mark!
Now i wonder how long it will be til the next one pops through, because there is no sign of it at all right now.

The long awaited for 9 month photos. It seemed like Ethan would never get well again..well that is a bit over the top but i am sure most people know what i mean. He no sooner got well that he was sick again. Finally we had a chance to take some photos to mark his ninth month

Recently we ordered a premmie doll for our little man, a keepsake of just how tiny he was when he arrived. Well it arrived in the mail last week and we are all thrilled with it.
A big thank you goes out to Kim Crabbs from Remember Me Preemie for the fabulous work she does and her amazing dolls. Kim, the doll is fantastic and I can not thank you enough for giving parents the chance to own one of these precious little keepsakes.
I was in shock when the parcel man handed over such a tiny little box, there was no way that Ethan could have ever been that small, DH agreed! Then we opened the box….OMG Yes he was that small not that long ago!! Carefully we took the doll out, it is amazing how the parenting instincts kick in…support the head etc etc. We found we were holding the doll like it truly was a little baby.
He is now dressed in one of Ethan’s EarlyBirds outfits. As first they looked too small for this doll - yep the same doll just minutes before I thought was tiny! But they fit and with lots of room too, Ethan didn’t get to wear his outfits till around 1 month old so we was a bit bigger than when he first arrived.

Already!!!
Here we are 9 months on and he is powering along, i really dont think you wold know he was born too soon..well apart from the million and one scars he has on him!
But anyway, 9 months down the track and Ethan now tips the scales at 10.1kg! He has certainly started to gain well again after he was so sick. I dont know how long he is, will find out this week when he has an appointment.
Milestones wise - He can now stand holding onto anything and everything. At times even getting a bit cheeky and holding with one hand or letting go totally. Crawling has progressed into a half walk with hands and feet on the floor. He is eating us out of home thats for sure. He can currently down 2-3 small jars and 1-2 big jars for dinner…oh and plus the 2 weetbix for breakfast (not to mention the bottles too!) So i guess all that food intake does account for his weight!
Still totally gummy here. The white line is there but i seriously think it has been there for months. It doesn’t seem like he is teething, still his normal self, so who knows. Well we do know it will pop through one day. All the kids got their first tooth around the 10 month mark so i guess Ethan will be following the trend!
