My Gracey
Posted on Nov 24, 2007 under Our Gracey |What can i say about my Gracey? she is just beautiful to me. She was born early at 29 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. She was born via emergency c-section and is perfect in everyway.
She was in hospital for 2 months which felt like a lifetime for us. She had only a few complications like being on oxygen for 4 weeks and she just had problems feeding which was a lot of the reason why she was in hospital for so long. We had been told that for a 29 week baby she did very well. She was born weighing 1289gms and looked really healthy when we first saw her.
She is now 18 months old and has been walking for a few months. She is just having a few troubles with talking so we are going to speak to her doctor to see if we can get a referral to a speech therapist. She is an energetic little girl and we love her dearly.

Grace sounds like she is going fanastic. My son is still not walking at 20mths (17mths corrected). I look forward to reading your updates on Grace and speech therapy.
